At Cornerstone, discipleship is about helping students grow in their faith, form meaningful relationships, and live out the love of Jesus in everyday life. We offer age- and gender-specific discipleship groups that provide safe spaces to explore the Bible, ask questions, and build community.
Our Middle School Discipleship group takes time to dive deeper into Bible topics and stories than we typically get to during normal programming. Students can explore deep questions, engage in discussion, and grow in their understanding of God’s Word. We usually meet at an Offsite Local Church on Wednesday nights. Then, during the summer, we take a short break to plan all of the things we'll do the following school year!
High School Ladies Discipleship, called ToGetHER, is a place for young women to build community, relationships, and a better understanding of how deeply Jesus loves them. Our focus verse is Hosea 2:19–20 because God loves us deeply and desires us to grow into strong, confident women who follow Him, just like the AMAZING women in the Bible! Meetings usually take place in the Café at Cornerstone after programming.
High School Guys Discipleship is a place for young men who desire to grow into Men of God. The group studies books of the Bible or topical studies depending on the focus of the session, while also providing a safe space for open discussion and accountability. The goal is to challenge guys to become the men God calls them to be, while giving them a space to ask questions, share, and build community. Meetings usually take place at either male leader's homes or at Cornerstone Youth Center in our Mix.
Discipleship at Cornerstone is more than studying the Bible — it’s about building faith, community, and character. Through age-appropriate groups and intentional mentoring, students gain confidence, deepen their understanding of God’s Word, and learn to live out their faith in practical and real ways.
